Mission
To preserve Indigenous heritage, strengthen education, create opportunities for the community and protect the land through social, educational and ecological projects.
Preserving ancestral legacy, supporting the community.
ONG NEWUENTUN is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Indigenous heritage in the Province of Arauco. It represents 130 members and is based in the city of Los Álamos. We develop social, educational and ecological integration projects in collaboration with local and national government, the private sector and international organizations.
At ONG NEWUENTUN, we understand that culture is not a museum object, but a living force that teaches us to live in balance. That balance, or Küme Mongen, is what we seek to project into modern society through unity.

To preserve Indigenous heritage, strengthen education, create opportunities for the community and protect the land through social, educational and ecological projects.
To become a reference organization in social integration, intercultural education, native reforestation and preservation of ancestral legacy for future generations.
